Screen Rant is thrilled to present a new clip from the upcoming Warner Bros. Animation film Batman & Superman: Battle of the Super Sons, in which Green Arrow is left alone on Justice League guard duty. The latest DC animated release arrives on Blu-ray and Digital on October 18, and it focuses on the relationship between the younger generation. Specifically, Jonathan Kent (voiced by Shazam!'s Jack Dylan Glazer) and Damian Wayne (Jack Griffo) must learn to get along against their will after the former learns that his father is Superman. Damian is naturally resistant at first, given his well-documented superiority complex, but all that changes when aliens attack.

Jonathan and Damian are at the heart of Batman & Superman: Battle of the Super Sons, but adults see their fair share of action too. Bruce and Clark good-naturedly oversee their children's interactions—until they are faced with enemies even they can't face. Other members of Justice League and a few fan-favorite villains also make appearances in the film, which was directed by DC expert Matt Peters (Justice League Dark: Apokolips War) and written by Jeremy Adams (the Mortal Kombat Legends franchise). Troy Baker and Travis Willingham voice Batman and Superman respectively, with SpongeBob SquarePants' Tom Kenny pulling double duty as Green Arrow and Penguin.

Green Arrow is the star of Screen Rant's exclusive clip from Battle of the Super Sons, which you can view above. Left alone at Watchtower, he barely has time to get in one of his signature quips before ominous noises put him on high alert. The hero immediately gets to work and prepares his trusty bow and arrow, but it appears that the (as of yet invisible) assailant gets the jump on him regardless. Audiences are left to wonder if the kids will be up to the task when the adults can barely see their enemies coming.

What To Expect From Battle of the Super Sons

Given the starfish attacks revealed in the trailer for Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons, it's no surprise that Starro will be one to watch out for in the film. Darin De Paul voices the star-shaped alien as well as Lex Luthor, whose presence suggests the second-generation Justice League will have a lot on their hands. Superboy only recently came into the knowledge of his powers, meaning his growing pains will be an added pain for Robin, whose patience already wears thin on a daily basis. The joy of the story is, of course, seeing the pre-teens put aside their differences to save their parents—and the world.

Fans present at New York Comic Con this weekend will have the chance to witness Warner Bros. Animation’s first-ever all-CG animated, feature-length film with their own eyes. Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons will have its World Premiere at 3:30pm ET on Friday over on the Main Stage, followed by a Q&A with the cast and filmmakers. Those who are not able to attend can still catch the exciting DC animated adventure when it lands on home release.

Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons will be available on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray, and Digital starting October 18.
