The age-old saying that April showers bring May flowers rings true for this month’s Designer Desktop. From luxury brand diptyque’s first ever wallpaper collection recently launched, we’re excited to bring Jardin Clos to your tech screens.
The painting was created by one of the Maison’s three founders, Desmond Knox-Leet, who was inspired by his summer vacations in Ireland where Castle Rea Park, the Knox family castle, resides. The residence features an enclosed garden which Desmond has expressed here in a pointilliste creation with watercolor and felt pen. For years, this pattern was kept safe as a treasured diptyque archive until diptyque’s SVP of Decoration, Myriam Badault, decided it needed to be shared with the world.
