Rive Roshan are known for their explorations of color, texture and materiality to create raw beauty. During Milan Design Week 2021, they debuted a continuation of their Sand in Motion collection with a fresh look and feel using natural sand rather than black. The studio’s creations continue to effect perception with the 3D printed Flow Vessel, Pleat Table Mirror and Spin Vessel that almost appear to be frozen in motion. The Flow Vessel looks as though it’s been tousled by the wind, with a different view from every angle. The Pleat Table Mirror is a slim mirror made for use on a table, while the Spin Vessel is a new edition based on the original black version of the piece. It feels like this sculptural trio would be at home anywhere a touch of nature is called for.
