Thanos' Snap ultimately may have been the reason the gods were saved in Thor: Love and Thunder, as it is the reason Dr. Jane Foster, the Mighty Thor, was present to help stop Gorr the God Butcher. Thor: Love and Thunder centers around the reunion of Thor Odinson and Dr. Jane Foster as they team up with Valkyrie and Korg to stop Gorr the God Butcher from reaching the all-powerful being, Eternity, and using him to vanquish all the gods. Dr. Jane Foster plays an integral part in stopping Gorr, as she helps in the fight with her newly acquired superpowers.

Jane Foster's story in Thor: Love and Thunder begins by revealing that Jane has been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Exhausting all options to find a cure, Jane feels herself being called by Mjölnir, Thor's hammer, as the hammer grants its wielder strength and good health. This leads Jane to New Asgard, where she finds Mjölnir and is given the power of Thor. New Asgard is attacked by Gorr not long after, which reunites Jane and Thor for the first time since Thor: The Dark World.
Is Jane Foster Really Worthy Or Did Thor Lie To Her?
The Mighty Thor proves to be a vital ally in helping Thor stop Gorr numerous times throughout Thor: Love and Thunder, and Thanos is to thank for her being alive for it. In Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, Thanos snaps half of all life in the universe out of existence until the Avengers are able to bring them all back five years later. Thor 4 suggests Thanos' Snap blipped Jane Foster. With Jane's cancer being diagnosed as Stage 4, it is likely that she already had cancer before Thanos dusted her. However, since the Blip returns people in the exact state and location that they disappear, there is no progression of her cancer over that five-year span, until she is brought back by the Avengers. Had Thanos' Snap not blipped Jane, it is likely that her cancer would have progressed during those five years, killing her before the events of Thor: Love and Thunder.
If Jane Wasn't Snapped, Would Gorr Have Won?
There are a lot of what-ifs that come with the scenario of Dr. Jane Foster not being snapped out of existence and the implications it would have on Gorr's mission in Thor 4. At some point during the five years of the Blip, New Asgard is created on Earth. It is not until after the events of Avengers: Endgame that New Asgard becomes a tourist destination known to people around the world. Even if Jane would've had the idea to look for Mjölnir to help treat her cancer, she may not have known that the hammer was broken or where to find it.
Even if Jane is able to find and wield the hammer during this time, Mjölnir does not save Jane Foster from cancer. The hammer serves as a reprieve from the cancer for Jane, providing her strength while enabling the powers of Thor, but using massive amounts of the energy she otherwise would have used to fight the disease. Ultimately, the hammer is unable to stop the cancer from taking her life in Thor: Love and Thunder. Still, it was a lucky turn of events that Dr. Jane Foster, The Mighty Thor, was still around to save Thor's life and stop Gorr the God Butcher from killing all the gods.
