A new Halloween Ends image is revealing the return of Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace. The upcoming horror film, directed by David Gordon Green, serves as a sequel to 2021's Halloween Kills, as well as the final installment in the now iconic and widely successful Halloween franchise. Set four years after the events of the last movie, Halloween Ends will touch on the effects of Karen Nelson's shocking death and observe Laurie Strode's efforts to put an end to the evil that is Michael Myers once and for all. The movie is set to hit theaters on October 14, and features a cast that includes Richards, Jamie Lee Curtis, Nick Castle, James Jude Courtney, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, and Rohan Campbell.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY
Richards famously portrayed the young Lindsey Wallace in John Carpenter's 1978 film, where she faced the threat of Michael Myers for the first time, having been placed in the care of Laurie Strode, who eventually became a target of the masked killer. To the delight of fans, Richards returned to reprise her role as Lindsey in Halloween Kills, which continued the narrative of the original movie and its 2018 sequel. She attended the 40th anniversary of Michael's arrest, and upon learning of his escape, set out to warn the residents of Haddonfield, Illinois to protect themselves. Despite several deaths, including Marion, Vanessa, and Marcus, who were with Lindsey that night, she survived and is slated to appear in Halloween Ends.
Now, Jamie Lee Curtis is giving a first look at Richards' return in Halloween Ends through a new photo shared to her Instagram. In the image, Richards' Lindsey Wallace can be seen holding tarot cards and standing behind a bar decorated with candles and a crystal ball, assumedly giving a reading. Curtis notes that the actress has been doing this just as long as she has now. Check out the new photo of Kyle Richards in Halloween Ends below:

Kyle Richards' Role In Halloween Ends Explained
Since she is one of the few remaining characters from the original film, there's hope Lindsey Wallace will be spotlighted in the final Halloween installment. The tarot card in her hands, the Nine of Wands, may even provide some context related to the events of Halloween Ends or her specific involvement. The meaning behind that card links to hope and perseverance, even when difficulty stands in the way and one appears defeated. Given the way Halloween Kills concluded, if Laurie wants to stop Michael from tormenting others, she could use the help from someone like Lindsey.
Audiences who have supported the success of Halloween over the years are just as excited for Lindsey's return as they are for Laurie's. With so much behind-the-scenes content between Richards and Curtis, including their "final girl" references, their characters might be the two viewers are rooting for the most. To see how Halloween Ends wraps up such an influential franchise and the stories of its characters, be sure to see it when it hits theaters next month.
