Game of Thrones and Hot Fuzz stars and fellow Britons Lena Headey and Nick Frost are teaming up for a new horror movie. Headey notably played Cersei Lannister, one of GoT's primary villains, over all 8 seasons of the show, and is also known for films like Dredd and The Purge. Frost is a comedian and frequent collaborator with Simon Pegg, co-starring with him in all three films of Edgar Wright's Three Flavors Cornetto Trilogy, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World's End.

Headey and Frost will now be heading to Finland to film a new horror movie, titled Svalta. From a script written by Frost, the film will follow a gentle English family on their summer vacation to a remote Swedish island with a dark past. There, they discover that a serial killer is on the loose and unfortunately for them, the hostile locals have no interest in helping out. Svalta will be directed by Steffen Haars and Flip van der Kuil, well-known in their native Netherlands for founding the comedy group New Kids. Given Frost and the directors' pedigrees, it's no surprise Svalta's horror will have a comedic bent.
Frost and Headey have played a married couple once before their team up here. The pair showed off their chemistry as Ricky and Julia in Fighting With My Family, parents of wrestler Diva Paige in the WWE biopic. Potentially borrowing from both stars' pasts, taking the small village with a murderous secret from Hot Fuzz and some bloodier moments from Game of Thrones, Svalta has the makings for an effectively fun horror comedy.
