Recently widowed after a road rage incident killed his wife, Scott Brennan (played by the elder Jane) is still trying to mend his relationship with his daughter Jane (played by Harlow), who was left deaf due to that same incident. In the midst of that healing process, Scott brings Jane along when he takes a high-paying demolition job in the dry desert of Las Cruces, which kicks off the events of Dig. But things take a turn when he and Jane are taken hostage by a dangerous couple, played by Emile Hirsch (Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans) and Liana Liberato (Light as a Feather).
