Ghost In Real Life is taking over in 2022 and we’re here for the “Metamorphosis.”
The LA-based producer / vocalist’s latest is all about going through phases and changes and fully embracing them. Considering Ghost In Real Life’s imminent rise in the bass music scene, the timing couldn’t be more appropriate.
“Metamorphosis” opens up with a melodic intro, layering GIRL’s signature, euphoric vocals with lush pads that set the scene for the track’s deep atmosphere. The energy builds from there, soon dropping into a colorful dubstep arrangement with playful sound design.

‘Metamorphosis’ is a dubstep song about going through changes in life and staying true to yourself and sounds like a collab between Subtronics and Peekaboo but with influences of Vaporwave music.
With releases on Subsidia Records, Rude Service and Phuture Collective, GIRL is making some serious waves and keeping us consistently engaged with new music. Also, shoutout to our friends at Electric Hawk for the premiere.
