Portland-Based Clay Factor Ceramics Specializes in Unique Porcelain Wares for the Home

Handmade with an obsession to detail, the studio has a focus on craftsmanship and continued exploration of the medium in the artistically vibrant city. The Clay Factor team is environmentally conscious, sourcing clay and material locally and reclaiming nearly all of their used material during production. The studio’s most popular collection, Taffy, is an agateware made with vibrant swirls of colors. Delicate but robust, and made for daily-use, Taffy also mixes well with other collections and comes in both gloss and unglazed soft matte exteriors. This season Clay Factor has launched two new collections: a new candle line called Tower that’s available in six scents, and Stardust, which features real gold on each piece that makes it feel both festive and ready to use every day. They’re currently doing a pre-sale for both lines, running through December 5th.
