Canadian jigsaw puzzle company Four Point Puzzles are back to help you once again beat the pandemic blues. Remember their Earth, Moon, and Evening Kingdom puzzles? Well, their newest collection includes two new puzzles featuring original works – Fade by Sara Andreasson and Several Found Things by Micah Lexier. Each puzzle is 1000 pieces and 25-inch square, which makes it the perfect size to get framed when you’re done.
First up is Fade by London-based Sara Andreasson featuring the Swedish illustrator’s signature graphic style and bold use of color. The squiggle-like abstract form is labeled a medium to hard difficulty proven by its subtle gradient color changes that might have one taking a second or third look at each piece while searching for its correct spot. But that’s the fun of it!
Known for collecting things, Toronto-based artist Micah Lexier is behind the second new puzzle – Several Found Things (Numbers, Letters, Shapes). Lexier’s fascination with found imagery, objects, numbers, letters, shapes, diagrams, etc., can be seen in the colorful items perfectly laid out in the puzzle, all of which came from his own archive of teaching tools, games, puzzles, tests, building blocks, stationery, stencils, magic tricks and various utilitarian objects. Several Found Things gets a medium difficulty rating.
