Hellraiser reboot star Jamie Clayton, who plays Pinhead, has an adorable reaction to the new Twitter emoji of her horror movie villain. Released in 1987, Clive Barker's original Hellraiser is now widely regarded as a cult classic, spawning a franchise that now consists of 10 films. Although most of the Hellraiser sequels earned overwhelmingly negative reviews, love for the franchise persists, due in large part to the memorable design of Pinhead, aka the Hell Priest, the franchise's central villain. Played by Doug Bradley for the majority of the franchise, Pinhead is the leader of a group of beings known as Cenobites, who can no longer differentiate between pain and pleasure.

Directed by David Bruckner, the Hellraiser reboot has long been in the works and is finally set to release exclusively on Hulu next month. Little is known about the film's plot, but the reboot is written by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski with a story credit by David S. Goyer, who is best known for writing Blade, Batman Begins, and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Although a trailer for the upcoming film has yet to be released, official promotional images for the Hellraiser reboot have already shown off Clayton's slightly redesigned version of Pinhead, who now boasts a more gruesome and fleshy design.
In a fun new tweet, Clayton reacts to finding out that typing "#Hellraiser" on Twitter now brings up a small Pinhead emoji. The actor is clearly excited about the discovery, expressing her feelings partly in French by saying "There's a [little me like the priest]!" before then sharing a few emojis of her own. Check out Clayton's adorable tweet reaction below:
With the Hellraiser sequels having mostly disappointed both critically and in terms of box office, expectations are mixed regarding the upcoming reboot. The announcement that Clayton would be playing a female version of Pinhead in the new Hellraiser was met with some backlash by fans, but Bradley himself previously expressed support for Clayton, essentially saying that the most important part of the reboot will be the story, not whether Pinhead is male or female. Despite some trepidation from fans, it's clear that Clayton is thrilled to be taking on the role of the Hell Priest and is more excited than ever for audiences to actually see the movie.
The release date for Hellraiser is now less than a month away but, interestingly, a full-length trailer for the film has not yet been released. With Pinhead now having his own little emoji on Twitter, however, it's clear that hype for the film is starting to build, and it's possible that a trailer is just around the corner. While it remains to be seen how the Hellraiser reboot will compare to the beloved original film, Clayton's enthusiasm and the strong talent behind the camera are certainly a very positive sign.
