Sony confirms the Blu-ray and digital release dates for the Brad Pitt action flick Bullet Train. Based on the 2010 novel Maria Beetle by Japanese author Kōtarō Isaka and directed by David Leitch (Deadpool 2), the story of Bullet Train revolves around Pitt's Ladybug, an assassin who is assigned a seemingly low-key mission to retrieve a briefcase from the world's fastest bullet train. However, things take a turn for the worse when he is forced to fight several other adversaries who have the same objective. Bullet Train features an ensemble cast, including the likes of Brian Tyree Henry, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Joey King, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon, and Sandra Bullock.

Bullet Train managed to rake in over $222 million worldwide since its theatrical release on August 5. However, that's still a smaller number than what blockbusters typically aim for. This home release – which comes a lot sooner than it used to – can give those who opted not to see Bullet Train in theaters the opportunity to see the action flick from the comfort of their own couch.
