Stephen King recommends a new Netflix thriller starring 1917 's George MacKay, called I Came By. MacKay got his start in the 2003 fantasy film Peter Pan, where he played Lost Boy Curly. He went on to act in a handful of films and television series, including two war movies – Defiance and Private Peaceful. In 2019, the actor starred in the critically acclaimed Sam Mendes-directed World War 1 film 1917. The role catapulted him to further stardom, and MacKay has starred in many well-received projects since.

Directed by British-Iranian filmmaker Babak Anvari, the gritty thriller has garnered praise from renowned horror author Stephen King himself.
