Peacock has released a brand-new trailer for their forthcoming original romantic comedy film Meet Cute, starring Kaley Cuoco and Pete Davidson. Directed by Alex Lehmann and penned by Noga Pnueli, the story of Meet Cute is set in New York City and revolves around Sheila (Cuoco) and Gary (Davidson), who fall in love at first sight. Little does Gary know that Sheila has a time machine that she uses to make the pair fall for each other over and over again. But when the "perfect night" is not enough to keep her satisfied, Sheila travels back in time to try and turn Gary into the ideal man.

Now, Peacock has dropped an official trailer for Meet Cute, putting the spotlight on the leading duo. The trailer begins in a bar in Manhattan, where Sheila strikes up a conversation with Gary. It is then revealed that she has a time machine which she uses to repeatedly fall in love with him on the same night. As the trailer progresses, the couple's journey becomes increasingly complex as Sheila realizes that making a perfect man out of Gary won't be as easy as she thought. Fresh off her second Primetime Emmy nomination for playing the lead character in the HBO Max series The Flight Attendant, Meet Cute marks Cuoco's second feature film in 2022 after the Netflix action comedy The Man From Toronto. The American actor is also set to appear in the thriller film Role Play, which is expected to debut in 2023. As for Davidson, Meet Cute will see the Saturday Night Live star tackling a lead role in a rom-com for the first time. The above-shown trailer will undoubtedly heighten expectations for fans of the two actors as their seamless chemistry is on full display. Audiences won't have to wait long to check out Meet Cute, as the film begins streaming on Peacock on September 21.
