Screen Media Films has released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming action-crime movie The Enforcer, starring Antonio Banderas and Kate Bosworth. Directed by Richard Hughes and written by W. Peter Iliff (Point Break), The Enforcer's cast also includes Mojean Aria (See), Zolee Griggs (Wu-Tang: An American Saga), and Alexis Ren. The film is set in Miami and revolves around the city's top mob enforcer, Cuda (Banderas), who turns on the criminal organization he works for after learning that his boss Estelle (Bosworth) is putting a young runaway girl's life in danger, presenting Cuda with one final chance to redeem himself for his past misdoings before the mob hunts him down.

Now, a new trailer for The Enforcer released by Screen Media Films puts the spotlight on Banderas as he goes head-to-head with Bosworth and the rest of the organization. The trailer begins with Cuda's merciless side on display as he continues to run missions for the mob. However, when Cuda helps capture a young girl (Griggs) as part of an assignment, he sees the error of his ways and attempts to seek redemption by rescuing her from confinement. After receiving an Oscar nomination for Best Actor for his performance in Pedro Almodóvar's 2019 drama Pain and Glory, Banderas was most recently seen alongside Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg in the film adaptation of the popular video game Uncharted. The Spanish actor is also set to appear in the upcoming animated sequel film Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, where he will reprise his voice role as the titular character. The Enforcer trailer promises another strong entry into the more action-based filmography that the Desperado and Mask of Zorro actor is known for. Audiences can check out The Enforcer when the film releases in theaters and on-demand on September 23rd.
