Harry Styles and Nick Kroll share a smooch in a new video from the Don't Worry Darling premiere. A film that's had the internet talking since it's 11 second announcement clip, Don't Worry Darling premiered yesterday at the Venice Film Festival. The utopian sci-fi thriller stars Florence Pugh in the lead role opposite Styles. Chris Pine features in an antagonistic capacity, with Olivia Wilde, Nick Kroll, Gemma Chan, and Sydney Chandler making up some of the supporting cast. The film serves as Wilde's sophomore feature after her highly acclaimed debut, Booksmart.

Don't Worry Darling has maintained a firm place in the public consciousness since it was announced, and rumors of drama happening behind the scenes have only increased that online buzz. Rumors of pay disparities between Pugh and Styles, a distracting relationship between Wilde and her male lead, and inconsistencies in Wilde's statement about replacing Shia LaBeouf with Styles have largely distracted audiences from the film's content. Though much of the drama surrounding the highly anticipated movie can be attributed to speculation, the premiere only added fuel to the fire, with Pugh skipping the Don't Worry Darling press conference and Pine appearing to zone out during his appearances at the festival.

In a more positive twist, two of the film's actors at the premiere seemed to be having a fantastic time. Ramin Setoodeh posted a video via Twitter showing Styles and Kroll putting on an affectionate display. The actors even celebrated the Don't Worry Darling premiere with a smooch after the film's screening. See the video below:

The celebration is very much in character for both Styles and Kroll, two celebrities who often express warmth and appreciation for their collaborators. After recent news that Styles might take a hiatus from movies, it's heartening to see him enjoy the success of the premiere so fully. The sweet moment stood out in a premiere marked by all the behind-the-scenes buzz, proving that Styles and Kroll, at least, are unbothered by the rumor mill and setting an example by focusing wholly on celebration. The actors had plenty reason to celebrate, since their first film together earned a 7-minute standing ovation after its screening.

Don't Worry Darling is set for a late-September release, so audiences will soon be able to admire Styles, Kroll, Pugh, and the other actors' performances for themselves. As Wilde's sophomore feature reaches the end of its much-discussed journey, it will be interesting to see where her career takes her next. Though early Don't Worry Darling reviews have praised Pugh's performance and little else, the film is likely to be a huge box-office success due to the popularity of its two leads and the buzz (positive and negative) that it has generated, which is good news for fans of movie theaters as the fall box-office slump continues.
