A memoir by a streamer
Too much power. Wow. Too much energy. Wow. Too much anticipation.
It’s the new memoir from one of the most controversial figure in video game streaming industry: Dr DisRespect.
Video Game Streaming
There are several gamer guys here in our bookclub, so it was a surprise for us that Dr DisRespect wrote a book, a memoir about his journey to the top streamers in the world. In the last months after his Twitch bann, it was even a doubt who he will continue his gaming career. Today we know that he started streaming on Youtube, but we still don’t know any certain background story: What happened in the past month?
One thing is for sure, that gaming industry became a serious thing, and it isn’t so innocent as it was in 2012, when Twitch started it’s way to the stars. Game publishers like Epic go straight into war in August 2020 against giants like Google and Apple. Streamers like Doc, with his 2.03m height are certainly one of the best paid streamers in the world. He earned up to $3,5 million just in the last years. These are the numbers of big celebrities, hence the mainstream media still didn’t pick up the gamer celebs (except Ninja).
Overall, we are certainly sure this would be a great read for those who are fans of gaming industry and esports.
