A new bloody Halloween Ends image shows Michael Myers taking an unknown victim during another murderous rampage throughout Haddonfield. The upcoming threequel is set to pick up four years after the events of the previous installment, Halloween Kills, as Laurie Strode lives in peace with her granddaughter and attempts to finish her memoir. But when Allyson's new boyfriend, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is accused of killing a young boy he babysits, Laurie is forced to confront the embodiment of evil, Michael Myers, for seemingly the final time.

Halloween Ends Michael Myers

Early on, it was known that director David Gordon Green's trilogy would end with an installment appropriately titled Halloween Ends. Since revitalizing the slasher saga with 2018's Halloween, which was a direct sequel to John Carpenter's original film from 1978, last year's Halloween Kills saw Michael embark on another ultra-gory murder spree which culminated with him killing Laurie's daughter, Karen. This shocking ending set the stage for the concluding chapter in the trilogy, which Green promises will be "more intimate" and "atmospheric" as opposed to the "free-for-all, violent chaos" the second film was. However, this new image shows Halloween Ends will still have plenty of blood and gore.

Halloween Ends won't be the end of Universal's profitable franchise altogether, though it is expected to conclude Laurie and Michael's story, which began in 1978's Halloween. Michael will wreak havoc around Haddonfield, likely killing the boy Corey is babysitting and many unnamed victims along the way, before facing off against Laurie for the final time. Audiences can find out who survives when Halloween Ends premieres on October 14 on Peacock and in theaters.
