Dolly Parton's new Christmas movie has cast the likes of Miley Cyrus, Jimmy Fallon, and more. A singer-songwriter, actress, philanthropist, and businesswoman, Parton rose to fame in the late 1960s and soon set her sights on the television and film world, landing her first feature film role in the 1980 comedy 9 to 5. She has since garnered over 60 acting credits (the most recent being a cameo on The Orville), in addition to working as a producer, composer, production manager, and other behind-the scenes film roles.

Now, per Deadline, Parton is returning to NBC for another Christmas special, entitled Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas, and big names have already been cast. Cyrus, Fallon, Willie Nelson, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jimmie Allen, and Zach Williams are all set for guest roles. The special will follow Parton preparing for a production, desiring to uplift tired spirits by sharing the unique "mountain magic" she's always found in the air at Dollywood during Christmastime.
No stranger to Christmas specials and movies, this project will likely be a fun one for Parton. In recent years, she's produced and starred in some of her own specials, including Dolly Parton's Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love and A Holly Dolly Christmas, premiering on NBC and CBS respectively. Most recently, Parton produced and starred in Dolly Parton's Christmas on the Square for Netflix. This new production could be even more special for Parton, especially when she's being joined by the likes of her goddaughter Cyrus and fellow country music legend Nelson.
