Saturday Night Live star Bobby Moynihan has joined the star-studded cast of John Krasinski and Ryan Reynold's upcoming action comedy feature, If. The comedian joined the sketch comedy show in 2008. If is scheduled to be released on May 24th, 2024.

As reported by Deadline, Moynihan has taken on a currently unknown role in Paramount Pictures' If, which will be produced by both Krasinski and Reynolds, with Krasinski also set to direct and write the feature. The film's story is currently unknown but is based on an original idea that would follow a child trying to rediscover their imagination. Moynihan will star alongside Krasinski's The Office co-star Steve Carell, as well as Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Cailey Fleming, Louis Gossett Jr., Fiona Shaw, and Alan S. Kim.

Moynihan's addition to the cast of If is a promising sign for Krasinski's next feature. While it is a far cry from his more serious, terrifying features like A Quiet Place, Krasinski's and Reynold's comedic talents alongside the film's all-star cast show that there is plenty of talented individuals working on the feature. It will be exciting to see Krasinski try his hand at a different kind of movie, working with a talented comedic cast.
