Poems, Reflections, Stories
What: Mie Na Mikpu is my collection of poems from across the years,
When: from the late 20th century till 20 years into the 21st.
Who: I think this has been implied?
Where: They were drawn either in Lagos, Enugu, Johannesburg, Kigali, en route, or from an ethereal plane.
Why: Why? Because isn’t it just delightful to have a collection of coded poetry? Besides, at the end of the day, we all die. So, why not 🙂
How: Specific moments inspired the pieces, ranging from pondering a banana peel thrown on the roof, to admiring a violin, and several other instances in between. They were written to tell stories, present advice, convey a message, but mostly compiled to bring to remembrance that which is already known.
